An advantage of liposomal manufacturing is the ability to encapsulate either hydrophilic or hydrophobic compounds. LipoQuest™ exploits the molecular properties of the liposomal aqueous core and the surrounding liposomal bilayer membrane. Using LipoQuest™, hydrophilic active ingredients (like vitamin C) are encapsulated within the aqueous core. In the case of hydrophobic active ingredients (like CoQ10), they will be trapped within the lipid bilayer of the liposome. All LipoQuest™ products contain phospholipids that are from Non-GMO Sunflower lecithin. Lecithins are comprised from all natural phospholipids as well as other naturally occurring components including triglycerides, fatty acids, sterols and glycolipids.
