We currently have liposomal products that exhibit high bioavailability, contain pure ingredients, and have a long shelf life.

Each step of the manufacturing process is carefully documented and tested and adheres to strict quality procedures. Our facility adheres to HACCP standards (A systematic approach to the identification, evaluation, and control of food safety hazards) and holds a HACCP certificate. Our production facility is GMP-certified.

Liposomal supplements are an innovative way to deliver nutrients and compounds directly to the cells in your body. These tiny, spherical structures are made up of a phospholipid bilayer that encloses a liquid or powder inside and is similar to the cell membrane in your body. This allows the liposomes to be an effective carrier of vital nutrients to enhance supplement bioavailability and allows nutrients to easily pass through the digestive system to be absorbed.

Sam Kwon
- CEO/President

Sam is the President of Vesta Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and the Managing Director of Vesta Ingredients, Inc., with almost 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame and a degree in Pharmacology from the Indiana University School of Medicine. Since founding the company, Sam has continued to focus on delivering the highest quality dietary supplements to every customer, on time and at an unmatched value. He oversees our fully integrated nutraceutical company, which develops, manufactures, and distributes only the highest quality products.

Nassir Patel
- Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

Nassir is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in business management and operations. He earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Michigan State University. He has a strong interest in entrepreneurship and has served as an advisor to the Chemical Angel Network. At Vesta, Nassir is involved in both the operational and financial aspects of our business.

Tax M. Georgiadis, PhD
- Chief Science Officer

Dr. Tax Georgiadis brings over 25 years of expertise in research and development across both the pharmaceutical and agricultural sectors. He earned his PhD in organic chemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Indiana University, Bloomington. His extensive experience in process development has led to the optimization of manufacturing techniques for crop protection products. At Vesta, he focuses on refining liposomal delivery systems and increasing the encapsulation of active ingredients in our LipoQuest™ program.

Halal-certified products are those which have apparently met the requirements of Islamic law and are suitable for the consumption of Muslims. Halal is an Arabic word which means permissible — as opposed to ‘haram’.

A Halal certification is a guarantee that the food is prepared adhering to the Islamic law and is unadulterated.

Hazard analysis and critical control points, or HACCP, is a systematic preventive approach to food safety from biological, chemical, and physical hazards in production processes that can cause the finished product to be unsafe and designs measures to reduce these risks to a safe level.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is responsible for protecting the public health by assuring the safety, efficacy, and security of human and veterinary drugs, biological products, medical devices, our nation’s food supply, cosmetics, and products that emit radiation.

FDA fulfills this responsibility by ensuring the security of the food supply and by fostering development of medical products to respond to deliberate and naturally emerging public health threats.

cGMP refers to the Current Good Manufacturing Practice regulations enforced by the FDA. CGMP provides for systems that assure proper design, monitoring, and control of manufacturing processes and facilities.

A National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) certification is a certification that signifies a food product meets the public health and safety standards set by the NSF

The certification process entails a constant evaluation and inspection of equipment, facilities and production procedures and their ability to meet the safety standards

The Natural Products Association is an all-inclusive trade association that serves retailers, suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, brokers, consultants and other entities that support the natural products industry.

Non-GMO means a product was produced without genetic engineering and its ingredients are not derived from GMOs. Non-GMO Project Verified additionally means that a product is compliant with the Non-GMO Project Standard, which includes stringent provisions for testing, traceability, and segregation.

Non-GMO certified products have been verified to have been grown and processed without genetic modification.

This certification verifies that the ingredients, production process including all machinery, and/or food-service process complies with the standards of kashrut (Jewish dietary law) as stipulated in the Shulchan Arukh, the benchmark of religious Jewish law.
